Hook, Line & Fishfinger was born from a love of fantastic local food. Having lived in Devon since a small child, I developed a passion for wonderful food and the great outdoors.
We began converting the horsebox in January 2017. Having stripped the whole thing out we then started working on the brakes, then the floor, the electrics and then kitting it out with all the fishfinger equipment I needed! After much blood, sweat and tears we completed in June 2017 ready for the season ahead!
Although the South West has some of the finest produce around, the fish and seafood is top quality! I wanted to create something that was different to the usual street food you see, and having great enthusiasm for a fishfinger sandwich I wanted to take this to another level! Having experimented with many different fish, different breadcrumbs, an array of sauces, the final menu was decided. Since we launched, there have been changes but we continue to serve the most delicious fishfingers out there!
